It strives to maintain a warm loving environment for children to learn and be cared for and also offers pick up and drop off to and from local public schools for children in half or full day programs.

The North American Family Institute is a human resources organization that has locations throughout the country andMore works with local government agencies to help in-need and at-risk youth and their families. The location on Burling Lane is called the Westchester Wraparound Program and it provides boys ages 12-17 with foster and clinical care. The program integrates families and has space for up to 16 boys at one time. It provides an alternative approach to traditional foster care and is also used and supported by the city of New Rochelle.

The Children's Center, located inside the Presbyterian Church of New Rochelle, is a daycare center for  2, 3More and 4 year olds. Although the center is closed during the summers, it caters to families who need a place to care for their children while the parents are at work. The program offers a variety of different activities for the children to do each day.

The New Rochelle Municipal Housing Authority works to provide safe and comfortable housing for low-income residents,More especially families, senior citizens and the disabled. According to the NRMHA Web site, "800 families are currently living in NRMHA communities throughout the city."</p> <p>Buildings owned by the NRMHA include 50 Sickles Avenue (pictured) and 111 Lockwood Avenue, which house senior citizens, and Hartley Houses (Winthrop and Horton Avenues), 345 Main Street and 361 Main Street, which house families.</p> <p>The NRMHA also runs the Family Self-Sufficiency Program, which helps low-income families find resources, educational programs and economic assistance to better their lives.</p>
