The Superintendent, Richard Organisciak at the time of writing, is the chief administrator of the entire New Rochelle school system and is the primary liaison between the Board of Education and the community. The superintendent's office responsibilities include directing curricula and educational programs, managing budgetary matters and supervising school personnel.

Monroe College offers "flex learning" for busy professionals and parents, through which they can take night or weekend classes that fit their schedules.</p> <p>Monroe College offers associate degrees, bachelor's degrees and graduate degrees. Associate degrees are offered in: accounting, baking and pastry, business administration, criminal justice, culinary arts, hospitality management, information technology, medical administration, medical assisting and pharmacy tech. Bachelor's degree programs include: accounting, business management, criminal justice, general business, health services administration, hospitality management, information technology, public accounting and public health. Graduate degrees are offered in business administration and criminal justice. </p> <p>Monroe also offers online associate degrees in business administration, criminal justice and medical administration, as well as online bachelor's degrees in business management, criminal justice, health services administration and information technology. Other degrees can be completed through a combination of online and classroom courses, which Monroe calls "blended learning."</p> <p>Monroe offers financial aid and work-study programs and assists students in finding part-time jobs. The New Rochelle campus offers on-campus living in 16 dorm buildings, which collectively house 750 students. On-campus housing provides 24-hour security for students.</p> <p>Monroe College is a member of the National Junior College Athletics Association and its athletics teams are the Mustangs. On-campus student groups include the National Association of Black Accountants, Monroe Cheerleaders, Monroe Dancers and Students in Free Enterprise.</p>
