New Rochelle Day Nursery is a non-profit organization that serves children who are 18 months to 5 years old. The nursery tailors its curricula to the ones used by the New Rochelle public schools, supplementing them with activities designed to raise intellectual growth, critical thinking and discovery. Established more than a century ago, it is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The building has six classrooms and includes a library, modern kitchen, dining room, air conditioning and playground.
