AJ's Burgers

This fun and funky North Avenue burger joint sports red curtains, multi-color tile, and cool architectural flourishes like an exposed ceiling and brick wall. It's in this setting that owner Alan J ("AJ") Cohen celebrates his love for New Rochelle by serving locals some of the best burgers Westchester county has to offer. Sliders, fries and salads are  sent out of the semi-open kitchen in personal-size skillets: a whimsical touch. The dining room features art by the winners of a contest held at nearby Albert Leonard Middle School.
