A Christmas Wizard of Oz and a Historic Candlelight Tour

2. A Christmas Wizard of Oz: The Westchester Sandbox Theatre will be celebrating the holiday season this year with its family musical “A Christmas Wizard of Oz” on Saturday. All the friends you know from Dorothy's famous trip to Oz return in a musical tale about the joy of giving and the happiness of home, and all those characters will be played Artistic Director Jason Summers. He will play more than 20 characters in this completely interactive, musical holiday show. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for kids 12 and under. 3. Candlelight Tours of the Historic Jacob Blauvelt House: Spend an enchanted evening on Sunday at the historic 1832 Jacob Blauvelt farmhouse, illuminated with candlelight and lanterns, fragrant with traditional sweets, and decorated with festive greenery. Presented by the Historical Society of Rockland County. Admission: Adults (non-HSRC members), $10; Seniors and HSRC Members, $8; Children, $5.
