4. Meet Nicole "SNOOKI" Polizzi

Why go: Meet Jersey Shore reality TV star and New York Times best-selling author Nicole "SNOOKI" Polizzi, who will be signing copies of her new book Gorilla Beach at Barnes & Noble City Center. Barnes & Noble book purchase is required. No memorabilia, please. Adult supervision is required.

5. Songcatchers Fifth Annual Volunteer Spring Concert
Where/When: St. Gabriel's High School Building, 50 Washington Ave., New Rochelle, Sunday, May 20 at 3:30 p.m.
Why go: The fifth annual Songcatchers Volunteer Spring Concert will feature high-school volunteers who teach in the After-School Music Program. These young musicians will perform classical and jazz selections, both in solo and in ensemble. A reception will follow the concert
Pricing: $10 suggested donation.
