Why go: The YWCA of Yonkers presents an Evening of Jazz with contemporary jazz pianist Bob Baldwin and friends will play a selection of jazz and funk.

2. Mamaroneck Indoor Farmers Market (Now Outdoors!)
Where/When: , 168 W. Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck, Saturday, May 19, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Why go: The market's runs every Saturday from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. through May 19. It features some new vendors this year, including: American Pride Seafood, Stone and Thistle Farm, Flour City Pasta, Raaka Chocolate, Amazing Real Live Food Co. (probiotic dairy products), Maura & Nuccia (baked goods) and Stephan’s Pure Blends (family-recipe Polish pierogies). Returning vendors include: Bombay Emerald Chutney Company, Christiane’s Backstube (European-style bakery), Coach Farm, Dr. Pickle, Feather Ridge Farm, Flourish Baking Company, Gajeski Produce, Kontoulis Family Olive Oil, Meredith’s Bread, Orwashers Bakery, Thornwood Farm, Tierra Farm, Trotta Foods (Italian specialties) and Migliorelli Farm.

3. En Plein Air Saturdays at Wildcliff
Where/When: , 44 Wildcliff Rd., New Rochelle, Saturday, May 19 at 11 a.m.
Why go: En plein air Saturday's at Wildcliff are open to artists from 11 am to 4pm by reservation only. 4. Meet Nicole "SNOOKI" Polizzi

Why go: Meet Jersey Shore reality TV star and New York Times best-selling author Nicole "SNOOKI" Polizzi, who will be signing copies of her new book Gorilla Beach at Barnes & Noble City Center. Barnes & Noble book purchase is required. No memorabilia, please. Adult supervision is required.

5. Songcatchers Fifth Annual Volunteer Spring Concert
Where/When: St. Gabriel's High School Building, 50 Washington Ave., New Rochelle, Sunday, May 20 at 3:30 p.m.
Why go: The fifth annual Songcatchers Volunteer Spring Concert will feature high-school volunteers who teach in the After-School Music Program. These young musicians will perform classical and jazz selections, both in solo and in ensemble. A reception will follow the concert
