Honorees Announced for Annual Gala

The Guidance Center of Westchester announced the honorees for the agency's annual Gala.  This year, the nonprofit honors Jay M. Kushner, of Viacom, and Tara Rosenblum, of News 12 Westchester, both of whom help TGCW and its clients thrive.

In addition to being a board member for TGCW, Mr. Kushner is the Senior Vice President, Global Head of Taxation and Treasury at Viacom. While his business expertise has helped guide the future direction of TGCW, it’s his compassion for the clients that truly makes him an integral part of the TGCW family.

Ms. Rosenblum  is an anchor and reporter for News 12 Westchester. Her recent series “Hooked on Heroin” provided insight to an epidemic that is affecting families across our county. One segment featured TGCW’s substance use treatment program and a client living with addiction. The agency applauded the straight-forward yet sensitive way Ms. Rosenblum handled this important subject.  You can view the segment  here.

This year, TGCW welcomes back an outstanding master of ceremonies, Stephen Paletta.  Mr. Paletta is the winner of Oprah's Big Give and founder of giveback.org - and he knows how to energize a crowd for a great auction!

The annual Gala takes place from 6:30-9:30 PM on Tuesday, May 13 at the Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle. Sponsorships and tickets are available online, or you can contact Rose at 914-613-0739.
