Thursday is Independence Day—a federal holiday—so you can count on most banks, post offices and government offices, including New Rochelle City Hall, to be closed.
The New Rochelle Public Library and the Huguenot Children's Library will be closed as well.
There will be no garbage collection Thursday. On Friday, trash and commingled recyclables will be picked up.
