Rain Possible Thursday Afternoon in New Rochelle

After a few days of nice, mostly sunny weather, New Rochelle can except some rain Thursday.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a 60 percent chance of showers after 4 p.m. Otherwise it will be cloudy with a high near 78. There could be up to a half inch of rain.

For Thursday night, there is an 80 percent chance of showers and a thunderstorm before midnight, then scattered showers. Up to 1 inch of rain is possible. The low will be around 66.

All that goes away Friday when sunny skies come back with a high temperature near 83.

Precipitation is predicted for Saturday.
