The New Rochelle and Ursuline volleyball teams competed in a pink game on Friday to gain funds for breast cancer research, Ursuline won the matchup in convincing fashion. The New Rochelle football team dominated the opposition on the gridiron while Iona Prep struggled. The Huguenots also defeated the Koalas on the soccer field.

Score: Ursuline Won 3-0
Highlights: Ursuline hit the road to face off against the cross town rival New Rochelle on Friday night. Ursuline won the match in convincing fashion but the true story of the day was that the teams put aside their rivalry to join the fight against breast cancer as they played for a cure and all proceeds from the game went to the Susan G. Koman Foundation.

Score: New Rochelle Won 33-13
Highlights: The Huguenots improved to 5-1 with a convincing victory against Scarsdale Friday night under the lights at New Rochelle High School. Khalil Edney had two touchdowns in the air and another on the ground in the victory.

Game: Iona Prep @ Chaminade
Score: Iona Prep Lost 23-19
Highlights: Iona’s Michael Barbuto had a 13 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown as the Gales fell at Chaminade.

Game: Ursuline @ New Rochelle
Score: New Rochelle Won 2-0
Highlights: New Rochelle got two first half goals from Shannon Carly and Reilly Gallin to lead the Huguenots to victory. Kaitlyn Grogan had 12 saves for New Rochelle.
Sport: Field Hockey
Game: Ursuline @ Scarsdale
Score: Ursuline Lost 5-0
Highlights: Scarsdale’s Caroline Knapp had two goals in the victory as Katie Colella. Maya Pochiraju and Victoria Green each added one. In the loss, Danielle Fucci had six saves.
Today’s Schedule:
In field hockey, Ursuline will face off against the Tigers at Mamaroneck at 7 p.m.
In volleyball, Ursuline will head to Hastings at 4:15 p.m. The match will be in the Cochran Gymnasium.
In boy’s soccer, New Rochelle will hit the road to take on the Pride at Ossining High School at 4:30 p.m.
