The Westchester Baseball Academy continued its hot start to the summer season with some strong pitching of late.
Andrew Waite, of Rockland Country Day School, and Michael Forgione, of Harrison High School, threw back-to-back no-hitters against the Rockland Red Hawks at Silver Lake Park in Harrison.
The Westchester Baseball Academy is made up of baseball players from various schools in Westchester. This is the second year they’ve fielded a team. Last year, Westchester won 40 of its 44 games, earning a spot in the Continental Amateur Baseball Association World Series in Charleston, SC. The tournament starts July 20. Let Patch save you time.
