Remember to send in your results and pictures to see them in the Daily Sports Digest

New Rochelle High School will retire former football standout Ray Rice’s No. 5 jersey Saturday just after he finishes leading his Ray Rice Day clinic.

Ray Rice Day is an annual clinic for 500 kids ages 7 to 13 featuring games, autographs and more. Rice graduated New Rochelle in 2004 before heading to Rutgers University. After college, Rice was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2008 NFL Draft, and he’s since become one of the top running backs in the league.

Joining Rice at his annual camp will be other local NFL players, including Rice’s teammate at New Rochelle and Rutgers Courtney Greene, now a safety for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Cincinnati Bengals running back Brian Leonard, Tennessee Titans cornerback Jason McCourty and New England Patriots cornerback Devin McCourty. All of them attended Rutgers, and the McCourtys are twins from Nanuet, although they attended St. Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, NJ.
