Celebrate New Rochelle's 325th Anniversary With 1-Mile Run
The New Rochelle Mile is part of the city's 325th Anniversary celebration.
Bring the whole family to participate in The North Avenue Mile, a new event hosted by NewRo Runners.
The inaugural event will be held on Sunday June 9 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. There will be age-appropriate wave starts. The race benefits the City of New Rochelle in honor of its 325th birthday.
The race begins at Paine Cottage and finishes in front of City Hall. Walkers, first-time runners, strollers, kids, weekend warriors and serious runners are all encouraged and invited to participate.
The fee is $25 for adults and $15 for children age 18 and younger.
There will be a fun health and fitness expo at the finish line. Complete information is available online. Registration is also available online.
