Three Huguenots Walked Away Champions in Wrestling Tourney [VIDEO]

The students competed in the 48th Annual Ted Murphy Shoreline Tournament.

Wrestlers from 21 different schools in the Hudson Valley gathered Saturday at New Rochelle High School for the 48th Annual Ted Murphy Shoreline Tournament, with three Huguenots leaving as champions..

The students tried to secure a championship in their respective weight class from 99 pounds up to 285 pounds. Fifteen champions were crowned.

The Huguenots did an excellent job of representing themselves in the home gymnasium. New Rochelle put three champions on the top of the podium. Nick Barbaria finished atop the 99-pound weight class, AJ Barbaria brought home top honors in the 120-pound weight class and Tyler Lilly took first in the 220-pound class. The Huguenots took home third place as a team.
