[VIDEO] Thornton Donovan Students Help Spruce Up Neighborhood

The students participated in a community service day Wednesday.

About 50 middle-school students from the on Overlook Drive donned gloves and wielded rakes to help clean up parts of the Beechmont Drive area where the school is located.

The private school was asked by the Beechmont Association of New Rochelle to clean up a piece of public property at the intersection of Montgomery Circle and Beechmont Drive, where the association plans to rededicate a flag pole and install a memorial plaque.
