Six Running for New Rochelle School Board
There are two open positions for trustees. The election will be Tuesday, May 17, 2011.
Six candidates will be appearing on the ballot May 17 for New Rochelle school board trustee. There are two open positions for the five-year terms beginning July 1 and ending June 30, 2016.
On the ballot will be Rachel Relkin, Naomi Brickel, Robert Cox, Peter O'Keeffe, Dr. Salvador A. Fernandez and Colin J. Thomas.
Board President Sarah Richmond and Trustee Quay Watkins decided not to run for re-election.

Registered voters will also have the opportunity to approve or reject the district's $231 million budget for 2011-12.
