Science Fair at Isaac Young Tests New Rochelle Students' Knowledge

About 600 sixth and seventh grade students participated in the science fair.

Sixth and seventh graders at Isaac E. Young Middle School showed off to each other and to their parents how they deal with scientific principles March 29.

The school threw open its doors that evening for parents to see how their children did in the science fair, featuring row after row of displays, some interactive.

The students had to come up with an idea, form a hypothesis, collect data and then mine the findings to discover whether they actually came up with the right conclusion.
