Report: New Rochelle School Board President in Arrears on Medical Insurance Payments

New Rochelle School Board President David Lacher has been repeatedly in arrears on medical insurance through the district, which the school system has had to pay  for him to avoid cancellation, according to a report by New Rochelle Talk.

On more than one occasion, the district sent letters to David Lacher requesting payment for his medical insurance, and he allegedly ignored those requests several times.

At one point, Lacher was reportedly more than six months in arrears, to the tune of more than $10,000, according to New Rochelle Talk. He has made payments in recent weeks but was not charged interest.
