The Albert Leonard Middle School Orchestra, Select Band, and 8th Grade Chorus returned from the annual Music in the Parks Competition on Friday, May 17th at Dorney Park in Massachusetts, with First Place trophies across the board.
In addition, the performing groups were awarded the coveted Esprit de Corps trophy for exemplifying best attitude, conduct, and school spirit. Last week, the ALMS Step Team also represented well at a Hershey Park Step Show competition, taking First Place in the Middle School Step Division, Outstanding Sportsmanship, Outstanding Crowd Appeal and Overall Grand Champions in the Middle School Division.
