New Rochelle Basketball Video Goes Viral

Videos of the winning shot from Sunday's game can be found all over the Internet.

All you have to do is search for "New Rochelle Buzzer Beater."

You will turn up stories and videos on Web sites such as CNN, the Washington Post, International Business Times, Huffington Post, the New York Daily News and Yahoo.

The story, if you haven't already heard about it, is the last-second—literally—basketball toss by New Rochelle High School's Khalil Edney made Sunday during the Class AA Section 1 Basketball Championship game against Mount Vernon Sunday afternoon.

With just seconds on the clock and New Rochelle down by two points, Mount Vernon stole the ball and thought the clock was about to run out. Mount Vernon's Jalen David threw the ball and Edney grabbed it at the Mount Vernon foul line.

Edney threw it from three-quarters of the court into the net as the buzzer sounded, giving New Rochelle the unbelievable 61-60 win.

Edney even made the rounds of morning news and sports shows down in New York City. Kenneth Plummer posted this video clip of behind-the-scenes at Good Morning America.

And then there's YouTube, where there are over 100 videos of the shot posted. Check it out here.
