Last Chance: JCC Offering Student Workshops

The Academic Center is offering time and paper management workshops for students to help them get organized.

The JCC of Mid-Westchester's Academic Center is offering two workshops to help teens get organized for the school year.

On Sunday, Sept. 23, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., a Time Management Workshop will help students (and parents) start the school year off on the right foot by teaching them how to understand time. Through hands-on exercises, participants will learn to make time to juggle their busy schedules using time maps, school planners and electronic devices.

The following week on Sunday, September 30, from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., a Paper Management Workshop will teach participants successful paper management techniques for organizing binders, knapsacks, lockers and home.

Josel is a certified professional organizer specializing in students and adults with chronic disorganization. She received her Chronically Disorganized and Hoarding Specialist Certificates from the Institute of Challenging Disorganization and is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers.
