Deacon Webster, chief creative officer of Walrus, the company that created the commercials, said the ads were written to depict the behind-the-scenes activities of sporting events.
He said they given insight into what the student athletes might be thinking about knowing that MSG Varsity and it cameras and lights would soon be trained on them.
The location allowed some Iona Prep students to be used as extras, including Joseph Colucci from White Plains, who said it was great that the school where he is a wrestler will be used in the commercials.
