Where did Anne Hutchinson Live?

“Where did Anne Hutchinson Live?” will be examined by Dr. Eugene Boesch, in a special program at St. Paul’s Church National Historic Site, in Mt. Vernon, on Saturday, September 10, at 1 PM.  Dr. Boesch uses the tools of history, anthropology and archeology to undercover the physical and human history of the area, and consider where the bold Puritan rebel Anne Hutchinson actually lived in the 1640s, illuminating one of the stories in the site’s feature exhibition, “A Clash of Cultures: Anne Hutchinson’s Brief life near St. Paul’s Church.”  The talk is presented through the New York Council for the Humanities speakers program.  There’s also a 2:30 tour of the historic church and Bell Tower, as well as the cemetery, one of the nation’s oldest burial yards.
