WCC's New Financial Fitness Classes

 This Fall 2012, Westchester Community College (Valhalla, NY) is offering four new dynamic classes: "Managing your Money", "Personal Finance for College Kids", "Smart Money for Parent & Teens" and "Credit Repair".

These courses target young adults, teenagers and adults who are coping with financial challenges; individuals who want to learn effective money management strategies, and want to implement an effective plan to impact their financial future.

You will learn how to save, budget, eliminate debt, cut spending and improve your credit.

If you have been affected by the economic downturn, or just want to become a Smart Money Manager, then don't miss this life changing opportunity. Spaces are filling up!

Classes start September 13, 2012 thru Nov 10, 2012 (Thursdays or Saturdays).

I think it's great that Pamela Davis stepped up to run and I would be glad to vote for her any otherRead More year. But this year we have one of New Rochelle's most dedicated and knowledgeable activists running. Bob Cox knows New Rochelle and the school district inside and out. I'm not sure the same can be said for Pam Davis. If you want someone who already knows where the wasteful spending is, and already knows the district's strengths and weaknesses, then Bob Cox is the person. Who cares how congenial he is? Where some people see anger and finger-pointing, others see tenacity and accountability.
