The Child Development Institute (CDI) at Sarah Lawrence College presents its Facilitating Play program, consisting of seminars, field observations and other hands-on activities for professionals and graduate students from Sunday, June 10 to Tuesday, June 12.
The Facilitating Play program focuses on the developmental importance of play for children and is designed for early childhood educators, social workers, play therapists, playworkers in outdoor parks, playgrounds, and children's museums. In addition to hands-on seminars, discussions, case studies, and field-based observations, the program provides interdisciplinary opportunities for participants to explore the uses of play in a variety of contexts.
