New York: The most Southern city in the North

At 1 PM, Dr. Cindy Lobel, a Professor of History at Lehman College, explores the fabric of life in the nation’s largest city during the Civil War, and considers why Mayor Fernando Wood called New York “the most Southern city in the North.”  There’s also a 3 PM tour of the historic church and Bell Tower, as well as the cemetery, one of the nation’s oldest burial yards.
