Most Americans just simply don’t know enough about personal finance.

For many people personal finance can be daunting - it is technical, it involves math, and many of the concepts are just plain confusing - but, ignoring personal finance can be very costly to both you and your family.

Under a grant from the New York Stock ExchangeMercy College has developed a free seminar series to help the average person better understand the fundamentals of Financial Literacy.  Among the goals of the series is to make subjects like retirement planning, life insurance, saving for education, and mortgages not seem so scary and inaccessible.
