The Westchester County Cheerleading Invitational took place at the County Center Monday night. New Rochelle won the Conference A tournament and Angela Trozzi was one of four scholarship recipients.

New Rochelle Highlights: Rachel Kessler finished in sixth in the 200 Individual Medley and 22nd in 100 Butterfly in the federation championships over the weekend.

Ursuline Highlights: The 200 Medley Relay team of Kayla Leslie, Tare DeVerna, Lauren Pop and Isabel Shipman finished in 16th overall. Shipman came in seventh in the 500 Freestyle with a time of 5:04.14.

Sport: Men’s Basketball

Game: Iona College vs. Maryland

Score: Iona Won 89-63

Highlights: Scott Machado led the Gaels with 15 points and 15 assists in a win over Maryland for fourth place in the ENERGY Puerto Rico Tip-Off.
