Tennis took center stage as Cassidy and Jessie Cruz won the doubles championship at Manilus’ Eastside Racquet Club.
With the majority of the fall seasons over for local teams, high school students are beginning to prepare for winter sports. One of the sports that is still going strong is girl’s swimming which held its preliminaries last night at Felix Festa Middle School.

Highlights: New Rochelle’s Jessie and Cassidy Cruz defeated Edgemont’s top seeded Christine Ho and Casey Rogovin in the championship match.

New Rochelle Highlights: Rachel Kessler finished in second place in the 200 Individual Medley and Kessler tied in third place in the 100 Butterfly.
Ursuline Highlights: The Koala relay team won the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:51.60. Isabel Chapman won the 200 Freestyle.
