New Rochelle's Arsalan Amin Graduates from Union College

Arsalan Amin graduated with a BA degree in Environmental Policy from Union College at the school's 219th Commencement exercises on Sunday, June 16th. 

Before the 472 Union College graduates received their degrees, civil rights leader U.S. Rep. John Lewis told the graduates to "find a way to get in the way."

"You must leave here and get in trouble," Lewis added. At age 23, he was a keynote speaker at the march in August 1963 where 250,000 people gathered at the Lincoln Memorial to hear Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s iconic "I Have a Dream" speech.

Founded in 1795, Union College offers programs in the liberal arts and engineering to 2,100 undergraduates.
