Nay Sayers - you're right; better all the federal grant money go to some other community... Rye, perhaps? Let their children benefit from positive programs for youth. Ours can sit here and suffer because we have Bart Didden guarding the federal largesse and ensuring that Port Chester remains untainted by federal handouts. Way to go, Trustee Didden - thanks for protecting us.

Valeria is correct, education is the key to the future on this and so many fronts, mostly because parenting is not a priority with many parents. As far as missing the "largesse", no said don't take the money, but look at the DARE program. I challenged the status quo and now we have a 100% changed curriculum and everyone agrees that this program is better than the last! BTW, Mr. Zeller, the world is round, not flat as you were led to believe.

Mr. Zeller since you are such a nay sayer what board or commisssion do you sit on to make Port Chester a better place. Please do not belittle Mr. Didden for asking questions and making sure money is used to the best potential to benefit us. FYI that is what we elect people to do oversee this Village and act in our best interest. Please dont just sit back and take a sharp pen and stab at people their work and their opinions. If you think you can do such a great job there are 6 seats up in March 2013 ...think about it
