Last Chance: Astorio to Hold Town Hall

"Ask Astorino" is a chance to for residents and small business owners to field questions about Westchester County concerns.

On Wednesday, Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino will hold a "Town Hall" at 7 p.m. at the Daronco Town House in Pelham.

This latest in the series of "Ask Astorino" outreach sessions is the chance for residents and business owners to ask questions about property taxes, get an update on the county's affordable housing settlement or any number of things.

"These town hall meetings are a great way for me to find out what is on the minds of our residents and businesses," Astorino said in a prepared statement.

At the "Town Hall," Astorino will give an update on his administration's progress in providing tax relief, preserving essential services and promoting economic development. There will be a Q&A session as well.

The Daronco Town House is located at 20 Fifth Ave., next door to the Pelham Village Hall.

I think it's great that Pamela Davis stepped up to run and I would be glad to vote for her any otherRead More year. But this year we have one of New Rochelle's most dedicated and knowledgeable activists running. Bob Cox knows New Rochelle and the school district inside and out. I'm not sure the same can be said for Pam Davis. If you want someone who already knows where the wasteful spending is, and already knows the district's strengths and weaknesses, then Bob Cox is the person. Who cares how congenial he is? Where some people see anger and finger-pointing, others see tenacity and accountability.
