With skies as clear a blue as they were on the fateful morning of Sept. 11, 2001, hundreds of alumni, family, friends and current students gathered on the front lawn of the Ryan Library on the campus to remember those who lost their lives, not only from around the country, but those who were a part of Iona College.
A total of 15 members of the Alumni Family of Iona College died in the attacks, and the commemoration saw many guest speakers such as Rabbi Scott Weiner of .
