Bastille Celebration in New Rochelle Friday

The City of New Rochelle has a special relationship with La Rochelle, France, the home of the founding Huguenots.

A day early, the City of New Rochelle celebrated Bastille Day with the raising of the French flag and singing of La Marseillaise and Star-Spangled Banner.

The ceremony was presented by the city and the New Rochelle-La Rochelle Sister City Committee.

At the end of the ceremony, the winning design and two runners-up for the 325th Anniversary logo competition were announced.
