Report: Man Stabbed at 4th of July Weekend Block Party in New Rochelle

A 23-year-old New Rochelle man suffered injuries early Sunday when he was stabbed during a fight at a block party on Morris Street, according to The Journal News.

Reporter Alex Taylor writes that the man, whose identity was not released by police, was taken to New Rochelle's Montefiore Hospital in stable condition.

Westchester News 12 reported that several people also suffered minor stab wounds during the fracas.

Several people were reportedly involved in the scrap, but no arrests have been made. Officers had been on the scene monitoring the party, but called in for back up because the unruly crowd had swelled to more than 100.
