Police: Naked Man Fondled Himself Near Travers Island

A kayaker saw a naked man allegedly fondling himself near the New York Athletic Club in Pelham Manor Wednesday.

Pelham Manor police investigated a report of a naked man fondling himself near the New York Athletic Club on Traver Island a little after 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

Woman told police she was kayaking off the shore of the Athletic Club when she saw the man emerge from the water. The man reportedly fondled himself while looking at the kayaker.

The woman told police she has seen the man in the area before doing the same thing. She believes he arrived and left the area via bicycle. The woman said she took picture of the suspect before he left.

Pelham Manor police and the New Rochelle Police Department’s marine unit searched the area, but they were unable to locate the suspect.

The woman was referred to the New York City Police Department's 45th Precinct since the incident actually occurred in the Bronx.

I think it's great that Pamela Davis stepped up to run and I would be glad to vote for her any otherRead More year. But this year we have one of New Rochelle's most dedicated and knowledgeable activists running. Bob Cox knows New Rochelle and the school district inside and out. I'm not sure the same can be said for Pam Davis. If you want someone who already knows where the wasteful spending is, and already knows the district's strengths and weaknesses, then Bob Cox is the person. Who cares how congenial he is? Where some people see anger and finger-pointing, others see tenacity and accountability.
