Police Blotter: Teenager Suffers Cracked Teeth in Assault

A teenager went to Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx with injuries after being jumped by two men on Main Street.

Burglary: Between 5 p.m. on Jan. 13 and 8 a.m. on Jan. 17, an office building at 210 North Ave. was burglarized. The rear basement door was found broken and the security lock was smashed. Nothing was reported missing.

Assault: Around 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 14, a Bronx man, 19, was confronted at the intersection of East Main Street and Stephenson Boulevard by two black males who punched and kicked him. Two of his front teeth were cracked in the assault. He went to Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx for treatment, but reported the incident to the police on Jan. 17.

Larceny from a Motor Vehicle: Sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 17, the passenger side window of a 2011 Subaru parked behind City Hall was broken into. A TomTom GPS worth $199 was reported missing.

Criminal Mischief: Between 5 p.m. and 10:25 p.m. on Jan. 19, the passenger side window of a 1994 Honda Accord was found broken. The vehicle was parked on Lockwood Avenue. Nothing was reported stolen

I think it's great that Pamela Davis stepped up to run and I would be glad to vote for her any otherRead More year. But this year we have one of New Rochelle's most dedicated and knowledgeable activists running. Bob Cox knows New Rochelle and the school district inside and out. I'm not sure the same can be said for Pam Davis. If you want someone who already knows where the wasteful spending is, and already knows the district's strengths and weaknesses, then Bob Cox is the person. Who cares how congenial he is? Where some people see anger and finger-pointing, others see tenacity and accountability.
