New Rochelle man faces felony assault charges.

A second man has been arrested in the New Year's Eve attack at Pelham Road in New Rochelle, where police captain Kevin Kealy said a man was attacked with a baseball bat and hospitalized.

Authorities arrested Roy Michael Forrester, a 20-year-old New Rochelle resident, last Friday. Forrester lives at 83 S. Division Street.

Forrester—5'10" and 210 pounds—has been charged with assault in the first degree, a felony, in connection with the Dec. 31 event.

The attack took place at 6:07 p.m., police said. According to a dispatch in The Journal News by reporter Will David, the victim suffered a fractured skull and wounds to the face.

The first man arrested in connection with the incident is Antonia Lucaine, a 19-year-old New Rochelle resident.

I think it's great that Pamela Davis stepped up to run and I would be glad to vote for her any otherRead More year. But this year we have one of New Rochelle's most dedicated and knowledgeable activists running. Bob Cox knows New Rochelle and the school district inside and out. I'm not sure the same can be said for Pam Davis. If you want someone who already knows where the wasteful spending is, and already knows the district's strengths and weaknesses, then Bob Cox is the person. Who cares how congenial he is? Where some people see anger and finger-pointing, others see tenacity and accountability.
