Contractor hit and severed a gas line on Davenport Road opposite the Davenport Beach Club Friday.
New Rochelle Fire Department was on the scene. Con Ed workers continue at the scene making repairs.
Davenport Road is blocked off at the exit and entrance to the beach club; traffic is being diverted through the parking lot.
