With a name like Weiner it just opens the door for jokes. We try to tell/warn our kids about this stuff and here we find a Congressman being stupid. ONCE YOU PRESS SEND THERE IS NO GETTING IT BACK. Not the first idiot and certainly not the last. When will people learn.

Anyone this stupid should not be in office.

I do not agree with his politics...but that aside I think these guys should know by now that the internet is very unforgiving and you only get one chance. Whenever you Google his name from now on, you will see a picture of his member...and that will be there forever. If you want to do your thing fine, stay away from the internet. It shows poor judgement. I think the fact that he lied and said it was a hack is worse than the acts itself.

It is ALWAYS better to admit a mistake right away rather than deny it hoping it will go away. Regarding the Internet, there are a lot of young adults out there who find that even having pictures of them drinking and partying on their Facebook pages have consequences when they are out there looking for jobs.

Yeah, When its a democrat , it is a "mistake"; the guy sent nude pictures of himself to various woman, some of whom did not request to see this "member of congress". Does anyone remember Weiner grandstanding over that statue in Queens, which was derogatory to women.

Quite simply facebook is a joke, "social" networking is something for 15 year olds. And when they become 16 they should have enough inteligence to know that it is nonsense.

Someone should make him an appointment with a therapist ASAP.
Other than that, he's a man with issues, and there are many out there!!

He lied. He needs serious therapy. He is a good guy and I like him.
Many people make mistakes and his voters/constituency should decide his fate. The democratic leadership is abandoning him when he one of THE strongest voice for health care reform which will save the lives of many people. He will probably resign so that he can find a way to get back on his feet again.

Oh yea, healthcare will save a lot of lives. I just lost mine because my company has rules that the mandate is too expensive and the insurance company said it will be too costly. My company now no longer offers health insurance at all and I will be forced under penalty of law to buy it from the government...all while poor people are going to get it for free. To you this is a good thing? I was in favor of it too until I saw what it has done to many industries and how many more people are losing their coverage now that it's law, because of the law.

It seemed to me the key point of moving the City Yard from the waterfront was to open up theRead More waterfront and turn that run down and obsolete yard into a public park overlooking Long Island Sound. The westside site was the most cost effective place to move the yard. Not ideal, but no real alternative has been proposed. I don't think this has much to do with racism. All races can enjoy more of the waterfront. Any development around it will add to our tax base

Ms. Aronow, The issue is that an alternative has been suggested, Ward Acres, as it is much largerRead More and strategically beneficial for the City of New Rochelle. I don't think the recent public discussions has resulted in unanimity in terms of the waterfront being an entirely public venue for all races to enjoy.
