The College of New Rochelle Holds Open House for Military Veterans - Thursday, November 7, 2013

The College of New Rochelle will hold a recruitment open house for military veterans on Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the College’s John Cardinal O’Connor Campus located at 332 East 149th St., Bronx, New York.

Veterans can learn about the College’s degree programs across all four Schools – the School of Arts & Sciences, School of New Resources (for adult learners), Graduate School and the School of Nursing.

Prospective students can also meet with financial aid counselors, admissions staff, faculty, and fellow veterans who are attending or have attended CNR.

The College of New Rochelle is a Yellow Ribbon school as designated by the Department of Veterans Affairs.  The Yellow Ribbon program allows veterans to attend private schools and graduate programs that cost more than the Post-9/11 GI Bill would cover.

The first Catholic college for women in New York State, The College of New Rochelle was founded in 1904 by the Ursuline Order.  Today, it comprises the all-women School of Arts & Sciences, and three schools which admint women and men: the School of New Resources (for adult learners), the School of Nursing and the Graduate School.  The main campus of the College is located in lower Westchester County, 16 miles north of New York City.  The College maintains five other campus locations in New York City.  Visit the College’s website at www.cnr.edu.
