In the Neighborhood: Music on the Green

July 17th, 2013

  • The New Rochelle BID has organized a free summer concert series on the Library Green that starts this Thursday night (July 18) at 7pm with Louie Miranda and Su Banda. Stop by any of Downtown’s fabulous restaurants—say, Gnarly Vine, Modern Restaurant and Lounge, Alvin + Friends, Coromandel, or  A Place 2 Go (just to name a few; they’re all a short walk away)—but make sure you get back to the Library Green for music and dancing under the stars. The show will begin at 7pm, and you can expect a compelling mix of pop, salsa, country and R&B, all geared to get you moving as the sun sets. Louie will be joined by a full band on bass, keyboard, percussion and guitar. And, when the show ends at 8:30, you can linger Downtown for a late dinner or drinks! Thursdays, July 18, 7:00 – 8:30 at Library Green (Huguenot at Lawton)

    Coming soon—
    Thursday, July 25:
Funk That Band will be bringing a hot playlist of Motown, funk, R&B, and soul.
