There you’d be, having justifiably spent all of the cash that you forecasted on real food, when, lo: there was that cake/wine/cheese/dozen oysters that stole your heart. Enraptured, you were facing a grim choice. Would you: A) get back in the car, drive to an ATM, and then return before the market closes at 2pm? Or B) skip the purchase and go home, brokenhearted.
Mostly, you went home brokenhearted, seduced and abandoned again.
The great news about the New Rochelle Grand Market is that we have several great payment options available. Increasingly, vendors are adopting The Square and other credit-processing apps. While we can’t guarantee that you can pay with your credit card at every vendor at the Grand Market, we will say that this growing technology has become more available at the market. Plus, because the Grand Market is located right in the center of New Rochelle, there are several ATMs located within a block or two. You can easily drop into any of the banks in the Downtown New Rochelle Business Improvement District, mid-market visit (and, handily, those banks listed on the BID site here). So go ahead and yield to those impulse buys!
