5 Things for the Week Ahead: Three Kings, Storytelling and 'My Fair Lady'

5 things you need to know for the week of Jan. 2, 2012.

1. On Monday, Jan. 2, 7:30 p.m. there is a screening of The Way, a new film starring Martin Sheen as an American doctor who travels to France to collect the remains of his adult son played by his real-life son Emilio Estevez. It plays in the 300-seat Main Hall at the restored . The film is also directed by Estevez. Wolfs Lane, Pelham. Click here for rates.

2. presents My Fair Lady. The popular Lerner and Loewe classic runs through Jan 29, 2012. General admission is $75; $67 seniors, $52, students. 914-592-2222.

3. “Learn to Tell” Storytelling Workshops will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the . This is a course on how to find a story you yearn to tell, how to shape and prepare the story, how to enhance its telling, the presentation of the story and a celebration of the storytelling. This is a free event but registration is required. 914-231-3161.

4. Blood Drive. Tuesday Jan 3. 2-7 p.m., Greenburgh Public Library, 300 Tarrytown Rd., Greenburgh. 914-721-8200.

5. A Three Kings Day celebration will take place in the Ozzie Davis Theater at the on Friday, Jan. 6 at 5 p.m. Colorful festivities marking the end of the holiday season will feature a live, interactive performance, festive decorations and samples of Rosca de Reyes (Three Kings Day bread), from El Trigal Bakery in New Rochelle. The whole family is invited to take part in this cultural tradition.
