It's time once again for that special event that brings the Jolly Old Elf from the North Pole to visit the children of New Rochelle.
Breakfast with Santa—held 9:30 a.m to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 14—is a presentation of the Residence Park Neighborhood & Civic Association.
Bill Mullen, the organization's vice president, said the breakfast drew over 60 children and their families last year.
He said the event was a big deal to the children.
"They get to see Santa, but before that they get to have breakfast," Mullen said.
The breakfast is held every year in the College of New Rochelle Sweeny Student Center on Castle Place.
College students help out during the event, which will include games and crafts. Some of the crafts will be distributed to New Rochelle Meals on Wheels clients.
Tickets for association members are $8 for children under 10 and $12 for adults. Non-members will pay $10 for children under 10 and $15 for adults.
