New Rochelle Humane Society Fostering Workshop/Open House

On Sunday, June 17th at 10am NRHS Shelter Manager Dana Rocco will be holding a free one hour workshop describing the New Rochelle Humane Society’s foster care program.  Learn about the cats and dogs that typically need foster care.  Find out what type of fostering is right for you and how to get started.  NRHS volunteers will also be on hand to share their fostering experiences.  From 10am to 1pm visit the New Rochelle Humane Society for our Open House -- meet our dogs & cats, tour the shelter, enjoy complimentary baked goods, shop for shelter merchandise, have your pet microchipped!

I think it's great that Pamela Davis stepped up to run and I would be glad to vote for her any otherRead More year. But this year we have one of New Rochelle's most dedicated and knowledgeable activists running. Bob Cox knows New Rochelle and the school district inside and out. I'm not sure the same can be said for Pam Davis. If you want someone who already knows where the wasteful spending is, and already knows the district's strengths and weaknesses, then Bob Cox is the person. Who cares how congenial he is? Where some people see anger and finger-pointing, others see tenacity and accountability.
