Teens to Present Entrepreneurial Workshop to New Rochelle Middle School Girls
Girls Inc. Westchester’s Girls In Charge program will present the first in a series of workshops for middle school girls at Isaac E. Young Middle School in New Rochelle on Saturday,January 25,2014. The workshop will include 2 hours of peer education introducing girls to entrepreneurial career possibilities, followed by lunch and panel discussion with local business women.The workshop aims to expose young teenage girls to the world of entrepreneurship and encourages them to consider the possibility of entrepreneurship as a career path. The session will consist of fun activities and exercises for a group of 15-25 girls that will enlighten the girls of their abilities and show them that many of their hobbies can be turned into a business.
