"Painting Mural on the Green"

"Painting Mural on the Green" a FREE Community Event, will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013, 9am-3pm on the New Rochelle public library lawn at the intersection of Lawton St & Huguenot St.

It is going to be the first of its kind event, hosted by MODHArts Studio and sponsored by New Rochelle Downtown BID.
Kids and Adults are all encouraged to join us to paint a mural. It is going to be 4ft tall by 20 feet wide stretched cotton on canvas mural. Craft acrylic water-solubale paint and brushes will be provided. No experience needed! Join us to be the artist for a day, to have fun or  to meditate through painting process.

MODHArts Studio ( visual artist Maryana Oliynyk and David Humphrey), residents of Riverdale, NY, have been working at the New Rochelle Artist Studio Building known as a Gallery ROC, for little more then one year now. Gallery ROC located at 2 Division Street, between Huguenot and Main Street.

We are very excited to lead this event, celebrate arts in the community, depicting  scenery from Downtown New Rochelle and incorporating imagery of Nature.
