Messiah Sing Along with New Westchester Symphony Orchestra

If you love Handel Messiah Sing-Alongs, you will love this one hosted by the New Westchester Symphony Orchestra! This new holiday tradition gets a unique twist with a full orchestra accompaniment playing the Mozart/Prout edition of Handel's beloved oratorio, rather than the usual piano or organ accompaniment.

The program will be the complete choruses, not just Part 1. Each section will also have the opportunity to sing an aria. So if you've ever wanted to sing the solo to "Comfort Ye," this is your chance!

You will feel like you are performing Messiah when the trumpets sound, but in fact this will be an afternoon of true community-created music. Anyone who loves to sing, who is curious about singing, or who just wants to hear some great music can attend.

$10 admission includes score rental (or bring your own) and refreshments. Children under 8 free.
