Meals-on-Wheels of New Rochelle's 30th Anniversary Gala

Meals-on-Wheels of New Rochelle will be sponsoring its 30th Anniversary Gala in October celebrating 30 years of service to New Rochelle’s homebound.  



Beckwith Pointe (700 Davenport Avenue, New Rochelle, NY) will be the setting for this festive occasion that will take place on Wednesday, October 23, 2013.  Cocktails will be served at 6:00pm followed by dinner and dancing to the music of Freddie Lando at 7:00pm.  Tickets are $100 per person.



Three civic leaders will be honored: Betty Grad-Gross (Founding Member and Past President, Meals-on-Wheels of New Rochelle); Haina Just-Michael (Trustee, New Rochelle Library Board); Chrisanne Petrone (Member, New Rochelle Board of Education); Marlene Tutera (Dedicated Volunteer).

A souvenir journal will be published and ads are currently being solicited.  Raffle tickets for “The Big Apple Raffle” featuring Apple products are available.

ABOUT MEALS-ON-WHEELS OF NEW ROCHELLE - Meals-on-Wheels of New Rochelle is an independent not-for-profit organization which was incorporated in 1983.  The heart of Meals-on-Wheels is its group of dedicated volunteers who deliver hot, nutritious meals seven days a week to the homebound.  These volunteers have delivered over 300,000 meals during the past 26 years.  Meal-on-Wheels relies on the support of its generous donors.
